Research Collaboration Forum @ GT

Georgia Tech, the Atlanta University Data Science Initiative (AUC DSI), Tougaloo College Research & Development Foundation (TCRDF), Morehouse College will host the Research Collaboration Forum @ GT November 7-8, 2023. The Research Collaboration Forum @ GT presents an unprecedented opportunity for HBCUs to gain access to representatives from governmental offices as well as major corporate partners who will share insights on how to obtain larger funding, identify challenges in select areas of interest, and participate in ideation sessions within areas of mutual research interest. 

Institutions will begin partnering, on-site, at the Forum to forge relationships and develop white papers that will position the teams for larger funding opportunities as they will have a clear idea of the types of funding to pursue based on the identified challenges. The GT Executive Vice President of Research (EVPR) has provided seed funding of $125K which was matched by our corporate sponsors at $25K each, thereby allowing for the realization of over $250K for us to support a number of white papers. The seed funding should allow for the catalyzation of a project that we hope can be leveraged into a larger effort.
